Warehouse Worker Job Description 

We are seeking an energetic warehouse worker to manage the receipt and dispatch of merchandise. This role involves loading and unloading delivery vehicles, selecting products from the warehouse, securing goods to pallets, and moving inventory to the delivery area. You will also unload stock from delivery vehicles, transport it to designated storage positions, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to all relevant safety rules, regulations, and procedures is essential.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to follow instructions and operate efficiently. Ideal candidates are hardworking, focused, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Warehouse Worker Responsibilities:

•  Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in the work environment.
•  Load and unload delivery vehicles.
•  Accept and verify delivery of inventory.
•  Count and confirm inventory quantities.
•  Inspect inventory for damage or defects.
•  Report errors to the relevant parties.
•  Mark and label stock.
•  Store inventory in an accessible manner.
•  Load and wrap stock on pallets.
•  Build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.

Warehouse Worker Requirements:

•  Must be 18 years of age or older.
•  Prior experience as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse setting.
•  Proficient in operating a forklift.
•  Completion of background check and drug screening required.
•  Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good moral character.
•  Physically strong, agile, and comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
•  Positive work history with a strong attendance record.
•  Willingness to work extended hours.
