We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage warehouse operations in our automotive industry setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling shipping and receiving, managing stock, documenting all transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Proficiency in Windows-based programs and strong computer skills are essential, along with the ability to coordinate tasks effectively with warehouse assistants and pickers. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though a Commercial degree or relevant diploma is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and stock coordination.
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse transactions and records.
- Oversee inventory management and optimize storage space.
- Coordinate tasks with warehouse store assistants and assign duties to pickers for efficient packing and unpacking.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent; a Commercial degree or relevant diploma is also accepted.
- Previous experience in warehouse or automotive industries is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in common Windows-based programs, including MS Office and Oracle.
- Technological proficiency relevant to storekeeping operations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
