Job Description

• Enter the arriving vessel in the electronic register after completion of security and immigration formalities.
• Issue entry permit for the marine vessel.
• Register the details of Cargo for the vessel including the weight and total number particulars.
• Audit packing lists and fees collection for the incoming cargo
• Receive, audit and certify packing lists for outgoing cargo and collect handling fees for outgoing cargo.
• Audit the collection of handling fees for incoming cargo.
• Issue non-objection certificates for the required vessels calling Deira Creek and Marfa port.
• Issuance of departure permits to vessels.
• Operate the electronic weighbridge at the port.
• Issue gate pass to the inbound/returned cargo after completion of customs formalities.
• Dispatch daily collected revenue to the financial department.
• Prepare monthly and daily work progress reports.
• Prepare duty schedules for leaves and official holidays.
• Execute instructions received from the coastguard with respect to detained vessels for entry and exit.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports of accounts with respect to the activities of the section.
• Perform other additional responsibilities associated with the position and as delegated by the supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information in line with Dubai Customs/Immigration/Dubai Police information security policies and procedures in order to protect from any disclosure or misuse.
