Job Position – NOC Network Security Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: 5 + years

Notice Period: Immediate – 30 day
Candidate’s current location: UAE / (Outside UAE: immediate joiners only who previously worked in UAE)

Budget: up to 13,000 AED

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Certifications: CCNP Security, FortiGate NSE 4, Palo Alto PCNSE

Role Purpose: Ensure maximum network availability and performance by proactively monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving network incidents. Collaborate with stakeholders, maintain documentation, and support project implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor and resolve network incidents using tools and ticketing systems.
– Maintain network infrastructure documentation.
– Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
– Develop and execute implementation plans for network changes.
– Address alerts, schedule maintenance, and keep users informed.
– Collaborate with design and project teams to meet deliverables.
– Provide support during business and occasional out-of-business hours.

Mandatory Skills:

– Networking: IP Addressing, Subnetting, VLANs, STP, RSTP, MST.
– Switches: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba (Access, Distribution, Core).
– LAN/WAN: Troubleshooting and documentation expertise.
– Wireless: Cisco WLC/AP, Aruba Controller/AP.
– IP Telephony: Cisco Unified Call Manager.
– Access Management: Aruba ClearPass.
– SD-WAN: Cisco SDWAN.
– Firewalls: Cisco FMC/FTD, FortiGate, Palo Alto.
