- The Manager, Corporate Development will lead a team of analysts responsible for a portfolio of strategic projects and Board materials.
- This job is a member of the Corporate Development team within our Finance division.
What You’ll Do

- Leads a team responsible for large and complex cross-functional projects in partnership with business units to execute strategic initiatives, building and using project plans to track performance and ensure timely completion.
- Manages stakeholder relationships and expectations to drive accountability across all teams.
- Provides strategic thought leadership to support project goals, clearly synthesizes and analyses business problems, identifies and provides strategic solutions, defines measurable outcomes, and gains consensus among senior leadership.
- Performs strategic analysis and/or financial modelling to support decision making.
- Communicates clearly across all levels of the organization to provide project updates, drive discussions and recommend solutions.
- Leads and delivers high-quality and timely results for smaller/short-term ad-hoc projects requested by our key stakeholders.
- Creates executive and Board level presentation materials.
- Collaboratively assigns and/or delegates responsibility for project work and functional activities.
- Maintains thorough knowledge of the company, industry, competitors, and broader market dynamics that may define the current landscape and influence future business decisions.
All you’ll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Master of Business Administration
- Previous experience in project management and/or strategy.
- Prior work experience in the airline (or related) industry preferred.
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a variety of demanding, fast paced and ambiguous situations.
- Exceptional organization and planning skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to logically structure analysis of complex issues using an analytical framework and develop creative solutions to business challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve and effectively deal with ambiguity.
