About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Relations Manager – F&B Service to join Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
- Welcome the guest in the restaurant and escort them to the table.
- Organize the Guest Relations Executive team and assist the guests in case of complaints.
- Raise HotSos in case of complaints.
- Menage the flows and the capacity of the restaurant.
- Print and create the menus. Answer the emails.
- Manage groups bookings and promptly assist and follow up guest enquiries.
- Organize the flower arrangements of the restaurant.
- Ensure 100% contribution to LQA standards.
- Coordinate the communication with all the outlets of the hotel.
- Coordinate Restaurant Reservation Team/Concierge and update them on the policy of the restaurant.
- Manage probation review of the Guest Relations Executive team.
- Organization of the menus for special events as Christmas/Valentine’s Day/ 4 hands dinner etc.
- Organization of the Rota regarding the Guest Relation Executive team.
- Create invoices and assist the finance department providing the documents that they request.
- Collect pre-payment and send payment links
- Submit Refunds
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 1 year experience within a similar role in the luxury restaurant or hotel.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- An additional language would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of cashiering Systems (Micros, HSI, other).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sevenrooms etc.
