Summary
Lidl US is searching for a Corporate Recruiter to join our team! The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for identifying and hiring qualified candidates for Lidl. This role advises hiring managers through the recruitment and selection process and mentors Specialists in the department on all recruitment practices. The role supports the department by working on projects to better streamline the recruitment experience for applicants, candidates, and hiring managers.
- This position will work at our Headquarters in Arlington, VA on a 3 day hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Effectively manage projects and project timelines while working independently and collaboratively to achieve short, medium, and long-term departmental visions
- Evaluate industry best practices and monitor developments and innovations within the retail sector particular to their business that may be beneficial to the daily operations of the organization
- Analyze and evaluate projects and develop ideas and/or practical solutions for streamlining business processes
- Update guidelines, standard operating procedures, and instructional materials
- Identify, develop, and propose opportunities for business and process improvement
- Support in national and international projects, producing business requirements, performing business system tests and technical improvements
- Meet with hiring managers on a consistent basis to ensure alignment of expectations, search criteria, and search progress
- Efficiently process applicants through Applicant Tracking System by conducting phone screens, assessments and other qualifying activities
- Manage relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and staffing agencies to ensure all parties of the recruitment process are properly and efficiently updated
- Execute offer letters including negotiation, employment terms, relocation and pre-employment checks
- Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of new staff recruitment tools and other recruitment projects by researching, providing data and preparing supporting materials

- Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
